Cool place to drink but the food was just ok

Birthday party of 9... got the text our table was ready and apparently they give you 4 minutes to get there after you receive the text. We have an 83 year old woman with us, we had to find her a place to sit. We could not get there in 4 minutes with her. And they gave our table away and put us "back on the list" with over an hour wait. When I called in about it they had me on hold then cut me off. When I called back they told me about the 4 minute limit. We have two diabetics in our party, I'm sorry but I find this very unacceptable.

On a road trip thru Michigan and found this restaurant. Had the fish tacos with the mahi and they were awesome. Right along the marina and deck over looking the water. Total redo!

The place to eat, drink and people watch in South Haven. Drink prices very fair. Food was great. Try the pasta Alfredo, but substitute shrimp for chicken.

Very clean, very safe feeling, very good food and service. Beautiful view very worth it to go here, we walked into a few others that didn't look clean, so picked this place.

Right on the water! What could be better? Great food- for a smaller menu it still has options for everyone. Bring a sweatshirt! It cools off quickly at night!

I’m giving this two stars because while there was excellent service from our server, the manager was very disrespectful. He was rude to the other employees and seemed to want to be somewhere else other than at work. Also saw him taking multiple shots with a table. This was the most unprofessional thing I have ever seen at my time here in South Haven. So disappointed that I had to experience this manager.

We drove from Osceola, IN to South Haven to visit their beach and Admiral Jacks. It’s cool and breezy today out of the sun so we asked to sit at the bar (which is covered) and be put on the wait list to sit on the open deck. The bartender, extremely rude, I might add, said it was possible. She called over the host, who was also quite rude and stated we could not go on the waitlist while sat up at the bar seating. I asked him what we could do to sit on the open deck, and he said “nothing.” The whole experience was a disappointment. Terrible customer service!

The place has a great atmosphere. The food isn’t amazing it’s just standard. It’s pretty pricey and doesn’t really have a wide selection of food.

Always a fun time on the water. Great food, entertainment and you can pull up your dinghy to the dock.

Yummy food!!! Great view of the black river and surrounding marinas. The wait staff were all great. They welcome kids. We took our son there for dinner.

Great prices for South Haven, and you get to sit on the boat as long as they aren't packed. Drinks are strong and the food is excellent. Not as fun of an experience to sit on the dock however as you feel as though you're stuck on the sidelines lol.

Boom boom shrimp is a must, the atmosphere here is hard to beat. Live music, fun people, and nice staff.

Awesome waterfront bar. Great for a drink or a meal. Enjoyed the chicken sandwich and the paloma.

We came early evening for some drinks and smallbites midweek. I enjoyed a fruity frozen drink (rum runner?), not my usual but so refreshing and not too sweet, and my hubs chose from the beer menu. We loved the coconut shrimp, fish tacos and I had a side salad. We enjoyed everything while overlooking the marina in the shade. The sun went down and we left relaxed and full. Highly recommend.

Very tasty food, kind staff, and a quaint water-side location! Would definitely recommend for a nicer lunch spot!

Fun spot right on the river. Drinks are ok. It's all about the view. The experience of being by the water is the draw.

Walked up, had to wait on a list for about an hour, and it was very worth the wait. The wings were the best i've ever had. Service was good, i enjoyed the perch, overall a great experience. The only downside is that literally none of the employees were wearing masks. The cook making your food is not wearing a mask and neither is the waiter. However this place is outside so you can decide if that is a problem for you.

It's seat yourself and very slow on receiving our food. Drove over 2 hours to spend the day in South Haven to celebrate 28th birthday. Not confident in a return visit to this establishment.
